This service allows anyone wishing to send money to Uganda to do so by using Juba Express Network. The money is credited in a recipient’s Tigo, Orange & E-money account instantly. Normally, it will take just a few seconds for the confirmation SMS to be received.

What is required to send money?

Here are the basic requirements:

Sender:

• A valid legal residence ID, or passport with Visa
• Source & purpose of funds

Recipient:

• Name and Address of the recipient
• A registered Tigo, Orange or E-money account

What are the transaction limits?

Tigo: a maximum of XOF 6,000,000 per transfer
Orange: a maximum of XOF 6,000,000 per transfer
E-money: a maximum of XOF 6,000,000 per transfer
